ShakthiSAT Mission

Empowering the next generation of space pioneers through collaborative CubeSat engineering across 108 nations.

Mission Brief

ABOUT THE MISSION

The Global Girrlz SAT Mission — ShakthiSAT — is a groundbreaking 108-nation collaborative STEM initiative focused on lunar exploration and space situational awareness.

Through hands-on CubeSat engineering, students from universities worldwide design, build, and operate a space camera system that advances our understanding of near-Earth and lunar environments.

This mission bridges digital engineering, systems engineering, and pedagogy — training the next generation of aerospace leaders while contributing meaningful research to the global space community.

From concept generation to orbital operations, ShakthiSAT represents what is possible when diverse minds unite around a shared vision of exploration and discovery.

Payload

SPACE CAMERA SYSTEM

The ShakthiSAT payload features a custom-designed space camera engineered for lunar transfer trajectory monitoring and space situational awareness applications.

  • High-resolution imaging for lunar transfer architecture validation
  • Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) design workflow
  • 3D-printed structural components for rapid prototyping
  • Digital shadow twin for real-time mission simulation
  • Distributed across three partner universities for collaborative development
